Driving school terms and conditions
All bookings are accepted on the strict understanding that the pupil has read, understood and accepted the terms and conditions outlined below.
You must notify us at least 48 hours before the lesson start time if you wish to cancel or change the time or duration of any lesson. Lessons cancelled at short notice, or missed for WHATEVER reason, will require payment in full.
Learners who regularly cancel lessons, even with the 48 hours notice will risk being dropped from the driving instructor´s diary, at the discretion of the instructor.
By booking any driving lessons with Keys to Freedom driving school, you are indicating that you have read and understood the terms and conditions and that you agree to be bound by them.
In the event that any pre-paid deals are not completed before you pass the practical test with us, any unused training time may be used for Pass Plus or Motorway tuition. Alternatively any lesson refunds will be re-calculated at the normal lesson rate with the remainder refunded accordingly.

It is your responsibility to check dates and times of lessons.

You must notify us at once of any change of contact phone number or loss of mobile phone which would cause us to be unable to contact you should the need arise.

Payments.
Lesson payments by cash or bank transfer should be made before the beginning of each lesson.
After arriving at your nominated pick up point for your lesson but there is no reply at the address in question, we will wait approximately 10 minutes. If after 10 minutes, you have not made contact or we are unable to reach you, the lesson will be abandoned and you will be required to pay for the lesson in question.
If you are late for your lesson the time cannot be added on at the end as this will interfere with timing of the lessons after yours, you will still be required to pay the full price of the lesson.
Any pupil may be refused a driving lesson if the Instructor has reason to believe that the pupil is under the influence of alcohol or drugs and the lesson will still be charged for at the full rate.Keys to Freedom driving school accepts no liability for personal property that is left in the training vehicle.
Hire of the driving school car for the practical driving test will be charged at the normal lesson rate. I reserve the right to withhold the use of the driving school car for practical test, if in my opinion the chances of passing the test are unrealistic.
If in the event of the driving school car being unavailable on the day of the practical test for reasons of illness on my part, or mechanical failure, I will refund test fees incurred by you in full.
In the event of the practical test being cancelled by the Driving and Vehicle Standards Agency, it is normal practice for the test fee to be refunded by them, however, lessons booked on the day will be subject to the 48hrs late notice cancellation and will require payment. (Some of these fees can normally be claimed back from the DVSA).
You must produce your driving licence on your first lesson (either provisional or full) and at any time when requested thereafter. You must also be able to read a number plate from a distance of 20.5 metres (67 feet) using your glasses or contact lenses if normally worn.
Any current special offers are not available to learners who have already booked their practical driving test.
Five lesson block booking deals are intended to be used over a period of 5 weeks, and must be used within a period of 12 weeks from payment being made, any lessons not used after the 12 weeks period will be deemed expired and no refund will be considered.
Should the learner decide not to complete the block booking deal within the 12 weeks expiry period, any lesson refunds will be re-calculated at the normal lesson rate with the remainder refunded accordingly.
Please bring to my notice any complaints that you may have and I will endeavour to address the situation. In the event that you are not satisfied, you may then make reference to the Registrar of Approved Driving Instructors who will consider the matter and advise accordingly
